Version 1.4.5 keeps the production signing identity introduced in 1.4.2, so versions 1.4.2 through 1.4.4 can update in place. If version 1.4.1 is still installed, uninstall it once before installing 1.4.5.

Update to version 1.4.5
Versions 1.4.2 through 1.4.4 can update in place. Devices still running 1.4.1 must uninstall it once before installing 1.4.5. Compare the APK SHA-256 digest before installation.

Create or recover separate wallets
Open Settings and create, type, or scan a 12-word recovery phrase for BTC and ETH independently. Scan only a trusted private display.

Fund carefully
Verify the selected network and deposit address before sending assets. Begin with a low-value amount and confirm it against an independent block explorer.

Review every approval and fee
The wallet shows the recipient, amount, blockchain network charge, and any U.S. Gamer Wallet NFC Service Fee before biometric approval. Reject anything you did not initiate.

Service fees and blockchain network charges are shown separately so you can review the complete transaction before biometric confirmation.
Flat U.S. Gamer Wallet NFC Service Fee. Any Bitcoin miner fee or Ethereum gas charge is separate and is paid to the applicable blockchain network.
U.S. Gamer does not charge a service fee to export BTC or ETH to an external wallet. The applicable blockchain may still require its normal miner or gas charge.
No U.S. Gamer service fee and no blockchain network fee. Postal Cash is isolated offline game value with no real-world monetary value.

Version 1.4.5 signs real Bitcoin and Ethereum mainnet transactions, with Ethereum RPC routed through the U.S. Gamer AWS Managed Blockchain gateway. Postal Cash is a separate offline game-value silo with no blockchain or real-world value. This is not a console-native wallet or an EMV retail payment app.

Protect recovery phrases
The app accepts only a valid plain-text 12-word BIP-39 QR and keeps it inside the native wallet boundary, but anyone who sees or photographs that phrase can control the wallet.
Confirm external requests
WalletConnect requests present a review step. Verify the origin, chain, destination, amount, network charge, and service fee yourself.
Test before material use
Use low-value accounts until mobile, blockchain, cryptography, NFC, WalletConnect, privacy, and operational reviews are complete.
Verify the public release
The public release vault contains the signed APK and its SHA-256 checksum only. Compare the published digest before installation.
